Inspiration is ultrasuperfantastic...

Sometimes you need some inspiration for all aspects of life...here is some of mine. All from Sweden....soon to be my new home.

I wish I had this Swedish girlie's sense of style....Emma Nygren. She picks out the greatest pieces. ooooo and this picture of red lips is just delicious.

Also, stockholm street style is very interesting, everyone seems to have their own sense of style. I really adore the knee socks over tights with red heels.
This simple chic outfit looks so easy, and cute. I need a leather jacket.

I can't wait to move to Stockholm for all of the shopping, it is going to be sooooo amazing and ultrasuperfantastic.

oh and the amazing interior design...sooo simple, elegant, clean, and gorgeous. Take a look into Sköna Hem, an interior design magazine. I am in love with white washed rooms with lots of paper lanterns, panel curtains, and maybe a flash of color. There are hours and hours of online magazines to go through, makes me a very happy girl.

About Me...

The Girl:

Hi! My name is Kristina Emma Hultkrantz. I am an illustrator, dreamer, dancer, dog lover, doodler, domestic goddess, and a major girly girl.

Born 1984...I grew up in the States. Gorgeous Portland, Maine to be exact. I had a perfect all American childhood taking ballet classes, climbing trees, making crafts worthy of the refrigerator, attending Little League games and cookouts all the while in a Swedish bubble. (My parents are both Swedes and moved to America just before I was born, I've got duel citizenship and can speak both English and Swedish fluently, isn't that neat?) My family and I have also spent some time in way too hot Tampa, Florida where I got quite a few sunburns and a BFA degree. One year after graduating college I bought a one way ticket to live and create in my dream city, rather chilly Stockholm, Sweden in 2008. Stockholm made all my dreams come true. It's my dream city, I worked my way to my dream job, freelance illustrating, and even met the boy of my dreams to top it all off.

The Brand:

My brand of girly illustrations EmmaKisstina was born in 2007 with the hope to spread girly girl illustration love all over the internet  and world and are available on Etsy and Swedish site Miinto.se.

November 2011, my first collection of illustrated silk scarves was released with 8 unique designs and are also available through my two stores.

The Blog:

This blog is a place for me to share my life as a freelance illustrator. I want in...

...on the blog madness. I myself spend far too much of my day reading and looking at other amazing/creative people's blogs and lives through flickr and the such...so now I want to become someone else's obsession. That sounds a bit strange. Don't stalk me or anything, that's creepy....that's very highschool. poo.

Anyhow, I am an artist. I adore art, design and fashion. I make things. I have created a new Etsy Store under the same name emmakisstina.

I hope to find my own audience; and bring some sort of freshness to the blog or artsy fartsy community. Who knows what all this will turn into; I am interested in far too many things, daily life, food, art, the process of making things, other peep's blogs and work, street fashion, and other cool fun stuff. We'll just have to wait and see.
