what's your secret.
is it here. in the room. or did you hide it.
down a long hallway. in a drawer.
there. in another room. cluttered.
on the highest of shelves.
in a box. adorned with ribbons.
possibly in the open. on a table. around.
on your shoulder. in your hands.
back to hidden. replaced.
inside. outside.
in a pocket. in a hole in your garden.
behind a loose brick. in a book.
haven't got one. someone else's.
is it dark. maybe light.
does it haunt you. is it exciting.
is it real. true.
has it gotten bigger. complicated.
what will happen. anything. serious.
do you have to. want to.
are you going to tell. maybe.
tell me. i have them. many. lots. all kinds.
i can keep yours too. yes.
tell me. tell me. tell me.

MANIFESTOS!!!
A few years back I was so into Manifestos. We read them and wrote them in art school. Make sure to read the Futurist's and Surrealist's Manifestos. Though some of those crazy artists had amazing manifestos I am enjoying the Charolastra Manifesto from the film 'Y tu Mama Tambien' So here you are...enjoy!
CHAROLASTRA MANIFESTO................................
1. There's no greater honor than being a Charolastra.
2. Do whatever you feel like.
3. Pop beats poetry.
4. Get high at least once a day (not mandatory).
5. You shall not screw a fellow Charolastra's girlfriend.
6. Who ever roots for Team America is a faggot.
7. Whacking off rules!
8. Never marry a virgin.
9. Who ever roots for Team America is a faggot (worth repeating).
10. The truth is cool but unattainable.
11. The asshole who breaks any of the previous rules loses his title of "Charolastra."
and then for one of my attempts:
A DREAMERS MANIFESTO........................................................
1. Do whatever you feel like.
2. Flirt with everyone.
3. Indulge yourself with simple pleasures.
4. Collect moments.
5. Say whatever you feel like.
6. Enjoy the everyday.
7. Keep secrets.
8. Enjoy the unusual.
9. Wonder, speak, and read slowly.
10. Ask lots of questions.
I have also been very inspired to write lately. Mostly nonsense...no full sentences...with meanings that can be read into differently by each reader....not pretentious...stolen....I like stealing words best. Everyone has said everything already. I chose the best parts from the best.
Here are a few stolen words.......
a trip.
express an idea. an action.
it's interesting. encapsulated. perplexed.
unique and special. feel it's here.
you feel. complicated. deny.
throw yourself into. imaginary portrait.
construct. through moving.
on a literal level. moment.
the arise of something new. a fairy tale.
special. follow this. here. in a sense.
unconscious. fascinated and disgusted.
forget. inner demands. inside.
dark mysterious places.
beautiful compulsion. look around.
suggestion. a hint. a key.
a real experience. fears.
if you fake it. subtle. impulse.
enter. wish. iconic.
inner walkway. close. itself.
experience possible. in that sense.
holding on. closed eyes. they vary.
take many different roles. coldness.
surfaces feel alienating.
instinct. pain. a theme.
retrieve. attraction. dressing.
mysterious connection. young impulses.
turned on. visceral.
irrevocably drawn to. innocent.
another world. future.
a trip.

KOMPIS!!!!
KITTEN AS A CAT, YEAH, SMITTEN AS THAT...by The Cure. Oh how I love love love the Cure. Robert Smith's lyrics are just far too amazing and bittersweet.

Meet my new kitty, Kompis (translates to Friend from Swedish). He is my friend's kitty and I will be taking care of him for a while. He is just purrrfect, heehee. He adores sitting in my huge windows looking out at the gorgeous tree with all of its leaves changing colors and with tons of birds flying about. It is like kitty television. Kompis is also super gorgeous. It is fun having a little life in my oh so quiet apartment. At night it is seriously creepy quiet here in the Old Town.
It is starting to get dark really early already. It was dark by 5pm yesterday. I think it is quite cosy. Most people here get a little depressed about the darkness. So far I enjoy it, but it is only the beginning...at least 4 more months to go. Winter hasn't even begun. poo and yay! I love cuddling up with Kompis on the couch, lighting a few candles, and watching a really good movie. We saw the movie FUR the other day...how fitting. An imaginary portrait of the photographer Diane Arbus. It really fed my imagination and I am so inspired by so many scenes. The movie is just gorgeous. Nicole Kidman is also so very stunning. I very much recommend it!

Lots of action with Mr. Bagge
Lots of cool junk happens on my street. I adore living here in the Old Town. It is so exciting. And if there is nothing that is going on then there is this amazing silence. It gets soooo quiet at night...almost too quiet.
Right now there is a group of guys filming a music video under my window. It is some sort of popish rap song. I wonder if the guy is famous...I have such bad grip on who's famous in Sweden. I need to start buying those trashy gossip magazines so that I can get in the know. During the summer months the little grassy area opposite my apartment was used to stage an outdoor opera. That was always nice to hear. They rehearsed often during the day and had performances during the evenings. I could just open my windows and get a free show. I believe it was a section from Romeo and Juliet. Lovely huh?
I can't wait until Christmas when all the decorations come up here...and maybe a little snow...doubtful. It will become really dark early, around 4pm, but everyone lights tons of gorgeous candles in their windows and on all their tables. It is so cozy and beautiful. Swedes complain that it is so dark and depressing...but as of yet I do not agree.

Sometimes being a ding dong works out...
...sometimes not ;)
Today I packed up quite a few postcards and letters and packages to be sent out. I used gorgeous vintage looking blue envelope for my letters to my loved ones, and I used creative postcards I had received from Svenska Tecknare. I love love love writing handwritten letters. There is nothing better. All this typing is difficult, I find. I have to have paper beside my computer to jot notes down and to doodle when I find my mind wander. My mind wanders far too often. I find it so difficult to read novels...or any text for that matter. I find myself getting lost in thoughts when I come across any word. haha. I am such a dreamer.
But, anyhow, I walked to the post office. I got there, gave the nice postal lady all my gorgeous letters and the such...but had forgotten my wallet at home. I am such a ding dong. So I got to run home again through all the gorgeous little alleyways in the Old Town back to my gorgeous apartment, where my wallet sat on the shelf in my hallway. poo. But then I took it easy, walking the same route to the post office again. And since I had already gone home so quickly I took a little nice walk around my gorgeous neighborhood...and decided to spend the rest of my cash...of course.
I bought some yummy looking fruits and veggies from the grocery stand. I got lots of tomatoes, and apples, and kantarell mushrooms....soooo yummy. Then I went to the organic bakery. Everything looks to yummy there...and smells wonderful too. I bought a small loaf of dark bread which the girlie in the store said was best. It smells delicious and is so moist and tasty. I swear it can be eaten on its own. The girl wrapped it up in parchment paper, very pretty. Gosh how I love old fashioned simplicity and the Old Town where I live. Only thing I am not too keen about is all of the annoying tourists. One man deliberately elbowed me as I walked by him a bit to closely. What an arse!
How about taking a walk with me in pictures...

All these photos were taken on a apple picking trip around Svindersvik.

KILLER HEELS...

I never posted about my newest print...killer heels which I created a few weeks ago. My favorite red heels will be forever encaptured as these gorgeous prints...which is fantastic because I don't know how much longer they will last. Gamla Stan's cobble stones are ripping them up...as well as all my other heeled and even flat shoes. Who decided cobble stones were a good idea? I would like to have a word with them. Didn't ladies back in the day wear high heels?
I bought a pair of perfect fall shoes at a second hand affair the other day. They are so sweet! But they have metal heels so where ever I walk I clik clik clik clik clang clang clik clik everywhere...they are soooo loud. I must remind myself not to where these if I am trying to be discrete.
I would like to publicly thank Andrea for her large purchase of my prints for her wedding party. What a perfect bridesmaids gift...if I do say so myself. The thought of weddings almost makes me want to do something bridal inspired...hmmm.
I hate when each paragraph begins with "I" but what can I do!
