Weekend!

Hey Friday! It's almost the weekend, no way! And this is going to be an extra special weekend since I'm going to a good friend's wedding. It's out in the country a few hours outside of Stockholm, a part of Sweden I've never visited. So, soooo fun!

Oh and then just one more week until I go on 'vacation.' Yay!

Taking over Internetland!

How many sites does one seriously need? As many as one can, I expect. I suppose I should want emmakisstina to be seen in every and all corners of internetland. (Can't hurt)

So now I've got... a portfolio website, a blog :), a Flickr account and a Flickr group, an Etsy Shop, a Facebook Fan Page, a Tumblr blog (as of yesterday), and a Pinterest account (as of today!) I think the only thing I'm missing is Twitter, but I don't see me tweeting any time soon, still don't really get it?!

It's almost comical and too much to keep track of! Good thing I spend a huge chunk of my day on the internet already, and now have plenty of things to keep me incredibly inspired, organized, and happy.


BTW, Pinterest is genius. My Inspiration folder on my desktop is overflowing with un-sited jumbled random pretty pictures (a hot mess really) and now I have a beautiful perfectly organized space in internetland to store all my favorites and future favorites. I forgot to eat breakfast this morning because I was so into pinning all sorts of gorgeous this morning, hehe.

Custom 'What's in my Bag?'

You know the monthly 'What's in my Bag' illustrations I do for Matchbook Magazine, well now I can do custom illustrations of your favorite signature things.

I just finished this one the other day. The owner is quite the lucky lady if I say so myself. (Both for the drawing and all the cute things she owns.) I'm a bit jealous of that MiuMiu kitty wallet. :)

An Italian Feast...

On Saturday night we made a delicious Italian feast for dinner (rather I made, not we). It was both gorgeous to the eyes and to the taste buds. I love this type of cooking...





















We had:

- A delicious tomato salad (tomatoes, chilis, and basil from our balcony) with fresh mozzarella
- Marinated artichokes
- Marinated semi-dried tomatoes
- Rolled anchovies with capers on lemon slices
- Roasted portobello mushrooms with garlic, fresh chili and parmesan
- 2 types of Italian sausages
- A delicious roasted vegetable, and olive warm salad. Eggplant, zucchini, bell peppers, and onions, smothered in homemade tomato sauce and garnished with large green olives.
- Large pasta shells drizzled with white truffle oil and parmesan
- And a home made pizza with anchovies
- oh and of course some Southern Italian red wine. yum!

A Visit with the King!

Boyfriend and I went to visit the King yesterday. haha well at least his palace... well the palace gardens then, ok fine. Drottningholm is just gorgeous, and we had a lovely day exploring the gardens and taking photos in the sunny windy weather. We also enjoyed a yummy sunny picnic once we found a spot of grass not covered in Goose poo. There were geese just about everywhere!
