I've been coveting these for a while now. Love love love them! Since I can't dream of owning a pair of my own, I did as I always do.... draw.

I'm obsessed with Pinterest! I love love love finding new gorgeous photos and it keeps me so inspired.

One day I'd like to have a gorgeous home studio, either in a large room inside my house or in a small separate mini house on our property (a girl can dream). Not that the workspace I have right now is bad, but you know what I mean... I place I can hang up tons of inspiration, and not put everything away at the end of the day, and place I can be messy, and keep all my hundreds of drawings and projects. I love collecting photos of other artist's studios, seeing how others work, how they set up their workspace, even their storage is interesting. Soooo many ideas as to what I'd want in the future.

Breakfast in Bed

I've got more new work to show off. This is another drawing I did while on vacation. I haven't colored it in yet, but what do you think so far?

I must confess that I'm not a big fan of breakfast in bed, though I of course see the romance in it. It just seems so impractical. What if I spill my tea all over my white sheets, not to mention sticky marmelade. But that's just me...

Is it possible to cough up a lung?

My bf's answer to this question was... "at least you're trying!" Gosh How I hate being sick, even a little sick. I feel just fine except I have a cough attack every 5 minutes and it is constantly tickling in my throat. So irritating! So lets looks at pretty pictures that will cheer me up.

I adore Malin Koort's paper cut works, so whimsical, funny, quirky, and detailed. I was introduced to her work at one of the student exhibitions at the beginning of the summer here in Stockholm, and have been following her blog ever since. She illustrates wonderfully creative children's books with beautiful technique (gorgeous hand painted papers.) I adore all her characters too, especially the little acorn characters. Allow me to introduce you to a few....

Aren't they wonderful?! It must be just too much fun drawing and writing children's stories.

I finally conquered my 1000+ missed blog posts! Took several days! I almost just wanted to mark all as read, glad I didn't otherwise I would have missed so many gorgeous things. Such as this picture. I am majorly craving this kind of glamour. What could be better after a wonderful party than kicking off your shoes, cuddling up in a soft pink blanket in a sparkly cocktail dress, on balcony with a view, with a bottle of champagne. 

Citrus Fruits

While on vacation I had planned to draw all kinds of new things, of course I didn't, since it was so nice sunning and going on little adventures. But I do have a couple new ones to show you. I'm pretty excited about these first two. I've been dreaming up lots of new works that would be perfect for kitchens or dining rooms. What do you think?

An then there were just a few days left...



































Cocktails in the sunshine, enjoying the green garden, a delicious shrimp wine cheese dinner, a little hiking to the other side of the island, a huge caterpillar, and the most delicious homemade rhubarb apple crumble with vanilla sauce and vanilla ice cream.

Though free and easy days were lovely it's really nice being home again.
