I think breakfast is so boring. I know it's soooo important so I make sure to eat something... but it's just not that exciting. I wish I could come up with more exciting healthy breakfasts, but I just can't. I've been starting to enjoy a half grapefruit a few times a week, that's kind of exciting. I've thought about smoothies, but I don't really like drinking my food so much. Oatmeal is just gross. I've made baked oatmeal (which is rather delicious because it contains sugar) but kind of feels like one is eating pie. A regular bowl of yogurt and dry muesli or a sandwich is just blah boring. What is a girl to do?
This is what I enjoyed for breakfast yesterday. Borderline kind of exciting.

Oatmilk, green tea, cottage cheese, gold kiwi, and a medium boiled egg smoked caviar hard sandwich |

Boyfriend loves breakfast (sandwiches especially) and could eat the same thing every day all day. What is wrong with him? haha |

Pretty yummy I must admit. |

I also got to enjoy a special Karl Lagerfeld edition of Metro |

Karl's favorite Paris cafes, parks, and galleries, oh la la |

Karl thinks Sex is overrated. That's because he is old. tee hee |
Oh Karl you are so very inspiring, commercial and weird. I think you have to be rather strange to be a creative genius.... and he is 100%. I wonder what Karl eats for breakfast?

thanks for sharing your breakfast photos...i wish i had time to make such an elaborate meal and read the fashion column before work! i have also been making an effort to spice up my breakfasts a bit. some of my recent favorites have been PB&J yogurt (plain greek yogurt and strawberries mixed with peanut butter cereal and a tiny bit of peanut butter) and pumpkin pie cottage cheese (cottage cheese, canned pumpkin, cinnamon, truvia, and pumpkin pie spice). a banana cooked into oatmeal with cinnamon, truvia, and a tidbit of salt is also really yummy!
Julia, Your breakfast sounds exciting! I'm not a big fan of pb & j but pumpkin pie cottage cheese and warm bananas are delicious!
I am rather lucky that I can enjoy a long breakfast.
