Djurgården

Hello Monday!

Ohh Djurgården I love you! I suppose we can describe you as Stockholm's Central Park. Here, us city folk can get close to nature with out even leaving the city limits. It's a perfect place for a quiet Sunday fika (Swedish for coffee break) or long walk in the woods with your Honey. Both of which we enjoyed this past weekend. I can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Also not sure if you can tell through the photos, but it's become awfully cold in Stockholm. It's already time to pack away my Fall gloves and scarves and make way for my warmer winter gloves, hats, scarves and extra wooly socks. I thought my toes may fall off at one point, haha.

Oh so pretty! I hope I get a chance to visit Stockholm one day.. Shouldn't be that hard from Denmark, right? :)
And do put on the warm mittens so you have your fingers intact for all of your wonderful pictures :)

If you're only so far as Denmark, then there really is no excuse not to come to Stockholm for a weekend. It's a really gorgeous city. Denmark is gorgeous too of course! :)

Love your mitten comment. I'll be wearing my normal double gloves from now on so my drawing fingers don't fall off, hehe. Leather gloves on top of knitted gloves keep my thin fingers rather warm. (They are always cold no matter what I do!)
