Apartment Hunting

So many nice apartments to choose from, so difficult to pick a favorite!

There are also seriously so many many factors that go into picking the perfect one, such as location, which floor, and of course the whole money part. I'm trying not to fall in love with any of them, because the bidding war is ridiculous, and there is no knowing what we'll end up with... but it's difficult.

We've set our sites on a 2 bedroom (so I can have an office space to work, yippie!) The kitchen is pretty important for me too, since I love cooking so much. We also would really enjoy a balcony where we can enjoy growing our own herbs and have dinner on warm summer evenings. But we'll see, might have to sacrifice one of these. What's a girl to do!?

Which floor plan do you prefer?

Number one! The one, where kök is connected with matplatsen and vardagsrumet:) I think that the most (or one of the most) important things in a flat/house is light, well for me anyway...
Which part of Sthlm are you gonna move to??
I keep my fingers crossed for a cozy&lovely space!

Top left! I'm an open-kitchen kind of girl (but from what I saw in Stockholm, lots of closed-off kitchens, which I suppose have their benefits, too).

And, oooo, the idea of a balcony makes me swoon. So do hope that you're able to find the perfect mix of all that you want (without having to sacrifice too much ;) ).

Number 1 is our Number 1 too, but it's on the expensive side, boo.

Asia, we're looking around about where we live now. We like living south of Stockholm in the Hägersten, Älvsjö area. Really hoping to find something nice and cozy too, and not too far away.

J, there is definitely a mix of open kitchens and closed here. Mainly older apartments have closed kitchens and the newer ones are open. We kind of like the kitchen being a separate room, especially when living so little, feels like you have more space for some strange reason.
