Boyfriend and I went to visit the King yesterday. haha well at least his palace... well the palace gardens then, ok fine. Drottningholm is just gorgeous, and we had a lovely day exploring the gardens and taking photos in the sunny windy weather. We also enjoyed a yummy sunny picnic once we found a spot of grass not covered in Goose poo. There were geese just about everywhere!

I love gold... |

The Swedish flag was flying at half mast in honor of all the lives lost (horrifically stolen) in the tragedies of last week in Oslo. usch... |
Sunlight through trees may be one of the prettiest things there is. |
gosh, more me. |
Tree lined paths are nice too |
and secret gardens may be in all girls' dreams |
a secret hiding place among tall grass, leafy trees, and perfectly kept hedges. |
I adore how statues glow in the sunlight |

ahhh, more tree lined paths, nice |
and a wooden hut made to look like a fabric tent, how clever! |
The mini China Palace... a gift to one of the past Queens |
As the Petit Trianon is to Versailles The mini China Palace is to Drottningholm. |
It's lovely |
I'd much rather live here than in the huge main palace, don't you think? |
I've never been inside, next time I visit I shall have to buy a tour |
Even flower pots look royal |
And then our day was done |
Another perfect Sunday... |
Happy Monday!
