Happy Monday! Here's to a brand new week.

p.s. Isn't this the prettiest blue you've ever seen? The bird is quite nice too.

Wildflowers

Via Pinterest

Hello Friday! I'm so glad to see you again. It's been a really wonderful week hasn't it? Oh yes.

Isn't this photo just gorgeous? What could be better than the golden light of a sunrise and pink and red wildflowers. I think I'm a bit in love with wildflowers at the moment, screw peonies, hehe.

Paris My Sweet

Via Amazon
I just finished this delicious book, Paris My Sweet, A Year in the City of Light (and Dark Chocolate) by Amy Thomas. It totally satisfied my craving of wanting to go back to Paris (or possibly made my craving even stronger, not sure) with pages and pages of descriptions of the most extravagant and delectable desserts, chocolates, cupcakes and French Mararons etc etc etc that Paris has to offer and even NYC. I definitely caught myself seriously drooling several times. I highly recommend if you have a major sweet tooth and a love for both Paris and NYC. A lovely light hearted summer read.

BTW today is another national holiday in Sweden Kristi himmelsfärds dag. Everything is closed since yesterday afternoon. Everyone is enjoying a great day off.... I think I'll celebrate by finishing lots of projects today! I've got 5 big things to check off my to-do list today!

Wildflower reading...

I really love the idea of reading in a field of wildflowers and tall grass, (seems so romantic and gorgeous) but the reality is that I am just too bug uncomfortable to possible stay for more than a few minutes max. It's a lovely dreamy idea though. Makes me want to spend all day reading (on a lawn of freshly cut grass on a soft summery blanket, sans bugs.)

Aren't these color blocked knits by German The Knit Kid on Etsy just wonderful? There are many on my make believe/window shopping wish list.

Pink!

Via my Pinterest

Look at me bringing back past blog sections and stepping it up with color dots and everything! I've been wanting to put more effort and thought into my blog and posts lately, and what better way to do so than to have a little structure with daily inspiration posts and a few new weekly features. I'm so very excited, and hope I'll keep it up (oh and you'll enjoy it too). :)

My Daily Muse posts are going to be anything from a gorgeous color combinations (like today), to just the most amazing artwork or photo I've ever seen, or a new pair of shoes or a bag I'm lusting over. This is going to be fun!

Happy Monday, and here's to change and a new week!

Pink and Orange

Hello Monday!

I don't know how you fulltime bloggers do this?! Last week I had to struggle to make two posts, I've just been completely blank in the blogging department... and I've really wanted to step it up with the blogging, so I feel a bit guilty (because it is rather fun.) But what on earth shall I write and share?

Anyhow here is a bag that I've been obsessing over from seller Colorsurfer on Etsy. It is pink which is a huge plus and it's big enough to carry all of my prints and packages to my many trips to the post office each week. I really love the side zip detail as well. Did I mention the perfect shade of pink, hehe. Hope it comes back into stock soon.

Minerals

When I went to visit my Grandmother before Christmas an unfortunate thing happened (I don't think I've told you)... my travel bag was stolen on the train. A real pain in the bootie actually! I didn't have anything particularly valuable packed, no money, jewelry, computer, phone etc, so that was a relief, plus I'd only packed one cheap H&M dress and a few pairs of underoos, so no biggie but I did have 10 (TEN!!!) of my new gorgeous silk scarves with me. Blah! so annoying. I just wanted to show them off to my Grandmother, sad face :(  But I've contacted my insurance company and I will of course be compensated... so that's that.

On to another thing that was annoying was loosing my entire makeup bag. All my favorite brushes and liners and powders gone. The way I'm trying to see it is... they were probably all out dated and needed to be replaced anyhow. Good thing shopping for makeup is super fun!

I decided to try something new, why not! A fresh start! Mineral makeup is what I choose to test out... oh gosh and I'm obsessed! It looks just deliciously gorgeous and natural and perfect on my skin. I hate the feeling of traditional foundation so this is just perfect. Why did I not try this before? It took something as awful as getting my bag stolen... haha should have happened earlier... not.

These images and products are from Etsy seller Beneficial Minerals ( I've sent after the top three eyeshadows... pretty colors huh?) I can't wait to test them out, hope they look as gorgeous as I'm imaging they will. The other mineral makeup, foundation/bronzer etc I tested was purchased at The Body Shop. I highly recommend!

I also found a wonderful skin care line that my skin is just loving. I won't go into that right now, don't want to completely bore you. hehe

Gosh I sound like an infomercial, blah.

UPDATE!!! Just to let you know I cancelled my order with Etsy seller Beneficial Minerals. My order was never processed and my 4 emails and etsy convos went unanswered for months. The only thing which went smoothly was getting my money back. I do not recommend purchasing from this seller. Sorry.

Serrano ham wrapped melon, with pork sausage, white truffel oil cauliflower, and a very buttery kanterell button mushroom toast, accompanied by green pepper paté and duck liver terrine, as well as Comté and Brie du Meaux cheeses, and a very delicious Bordeaux wine.

Blue Nails...

Today I am just totally obsessed with the new super blue nail polish I bought at H&M the other day. It is just the most gorgeous shade of cobalt blue, reminding me of summer in the Greek Isles while looking stunning against my hot pink shirt and tan sweater combo and my super fancy gorgeous rings from Triian.

Today I got a few new project assignments I'm excited to start work on... but before I do I am doing a little research and getting some inspiration from some of my art books.
