I love love love these patterns by Tess Jacobson for Mairo. Just gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! This collection in three colors (all equally beautiful I must add) are wonderfully graphic, have great texture, and that perfect amount of whimsy. I've been staring at them quite a while now, wondering how she created them. Are they painted? Is it all just digital work in Illustrator? A mix of both traditional and digital medias? I love when I can't tell how another artist does things. Makes works and products really interesting, and appealing (to me at least). I could have these pillows, or those gorgeous trays, or even walls covered in this wallpaper in my home, and never tire of them.
