We're already half way through August!? How did this happen? This summer has just flown by and has been rather depressing weather wise. Rain nearly every day and no really hot hot days... only a handful of rather pleasant days (which is appreciated). This year I've only put on my bathing suit and taken a dip twice. Very crappy!
While I was enjoying my little vacation the latest Matchbook went live. I was finally able to spend a few minutes to devour the issue cover to cover this morning. I especially adored Katie Armour's California apartment tour (just as quirky chic as I imagined) and the Nantucket clambake feature (gosh I miss Maine summers).

OH and then, what do you think of my latest custom What's in my Bag? Michelle Obama; she's patriotic, very chic, got a taste for the classic, mixed with just a pinch of rock. What a fun first lady!

I love your work! Very clean and pretty - the Obama bag is so cute. I can imagine her carrying around some spare jewellery, 'just in case'!
