Let's start off with a bit of sad-ish news. I won't be contributing to Matchbook Magazine any longer with my What's in my Bag illustrations of iconicly stylish people.
I've really enjoyed creating these illustrations for the past two years, and am a bit sad that they don't think there is a place for them any longer, as they are giving the magazine a bit of a revamp. Oh well, I plan on continuing the series on my own time. Even better now really, because I can choose to draw absolutely anyone I'd like to. (Let's look on the bright side.)
So here is this month's What's in my Bag illustration of our favorite British tv character, Lady Mary.
Since I live in Europe we've already had the pleasure of seeing the 3rd season already. So tempting to tell you all the dramatic things that happen, but I'll contain myself.

What a wonderful idea! Just love Downton and purchased the season 3 so I don't have to wait to watch the whole season via our PBS station. Such a treat to look at this morning, Thank you !!
